Love pursues; it never gives up. Love is patient and not forceful. This is God’s love to everyone. Oh how He pursues us because of His jealous, undying love towards us. How would I want to settle for anything less.
I believe we are all familiar with what happened in the garden of Eden in reference to the second and third chapters of the book of Genesis. These guys undoubtedly knew the presence of God and talked with Him often. However, the sin of disobedience created a rift in their relationship. God was grieved by what had happened but however sought to restore His relationship with man.
In Gen 3, He said the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent. The seed-Jesus Christ. This word truly came to pass as God sent His Son whose death completely tore the veil between God and man to restore us back to our place with God Mark 15:38. We are His delight. The best part is that He gave us His Spirit to continue in fellowship – This is Heaven on earth.
Now, know this:
God’s Love – A Perfect Example.
Our Father’s love is the paradigm of what love should be. Let’s not settle for anything less of what our Father (Lover) has for us. Any so-called love anyone claims to have that is burdening, impatient, forceful, fear-instilling or unsafe, isn’t from The Father. We have to consciously sift through as to not miss His perfect will. Do not settle.
Your Priceless Worth.
You’re indeed worth more than rubies. Heaven was brought on earth to have you back, wow. The devil thought he had you but God always has plans for His own as He did in Gen 3. Daughters of God, know that your bars aren’t too high. The right man will earnestly pursue you, climb those walls, seek after and keep you as a worthful treasure that you are as God did for the church, His bride. Keep those standards high or the wrong people will easily find you.
When you begin to understand God’s love for you, you would know how you should be treated.
